About Kate

Kate is an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced clinical hypnotist and hypnotherapy trainer, with extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of hypnosis. She blends hypnotherapy teaching and training design (co-founder of HypnoTC: The Hypnotherapy Training Company) with hypnotherapy research, being an international speaker and presenter, a busy London-based hypnotherapy practice, and clinical hypnosis work with a London teaching hospital.

Contributing to the hypnotherapy profession is a key interest for Kate.  She is an experienced and sought-after clinical supervisor and has an active role on the Profession Specific Board for Hypnotherapy with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and is Chair of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH).  This is supported by a range of memberships and Fellowships with a broad range of hypnotherapy, education and professional organisations.

A passion for raising hypnotherapy education standards has been reinforced by Kate’s Doctorate of Education, based upon the educational aspects of hypnosis from a professionalism perspective. As part of the research for her Doctorate, she completed training with many (200+) international hypnosis and hypnotherapy training providers, and has a personal library of hypnosis-related books and resources that would appeal to even the most avid enthusiast.
